It's been awhile since I've blogged. So I figure now may be the time to *re-introduce* myself to any followers I have. Maybe you remember me, I mainly used this blog to do makeup tutorials for Madd Style Cosmetics, but a few things have changed since I've posted here...
When I quit posting on here, I had just found out I was pregnant.
Well since then I had my baby girl, T.
She was born on Friday the 13th April of 2012. She's my lucky 13 baby ;)

X was so proud to be a big brother! He's done absolutely wonderfully with her. He totally adores her, as soon as we brought her home it was "his" baby. They have their bad days of course, but I'm pretty sure that's generally expected with siblings lol. She's finally at an age where they definitely enjoy playing together. It's nice seeing them have fun, not so fun when they decide to be troublemakers :P
Last September, we took a family vacation to visit my sister & bro-in-law, grandparents and all the rest of my family members that are still in California. We took the kids to Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure for the first time. X got to see Cars Land and he absolutely loved it all! I can't wait till we can take him again. He had a fantastic time seeing all the characters and getting autographs, the whole trip was full of new experiences. We also got to take them to the beach. T wasn't a huge fan of the water, but she somewhat enjoyed the sand on her feet.
She just turned a year old and my son is nearing his 3rd birthday! I can't believe how much they've grown up. Time really does fly. Cherish the moments you have with your loved ones. Take the time to appreciate all the little things.
If you like her birthday shirt, check out LittleMetalMisster on Etsy. She also has a fanpage. She's got some awesome baby & kid clothes. The skirt and leggings below are also from her shop. She has some awesome skill and unique items listed.
My son seems to be growing and learning more and more everyday. He has developed an obsession with monster trucks. It seems like his collection just keeps growing. He knows all of them by name and everything. The photo below he wanted my makeup mirror to look at his monster trucks lol.
It seems like we had some crazy weather there for awhile but luckily it's gotten to actually be like spring! My husband made him a little dirt track area where he likes to play with his trucks.
And I'll close this off with a makeup look I did recently. I was one of the original Madd Style Cosmetics "models" that did makeup tutorials. I loved it, it was fun and I had a reason to experiment and enjoy color. When I got pregnant I backed down from the title to focus on my pregnancy because I didn't want added stress...etc. Plus I had a feeling by the time the baby arrived I would have my hands full and wouldn't be able to give the proper time and attention to the tutorials. I do miss it. I'm extremely thankful that Mo gave me the opportunity! It was a wonderful experience and it's been wonderful seeing how her company has grown in the past few years.
I hope you enjoyed catching up with me! Sorry there were so many pictures :P Maybe in another blog I can share some of my more "scenic" pictures of our trip to California. If you'd like to follow me anywhere else, I'll include links below!

A lovely "catch-up" blog. Those kids of yours are freakin' adorable. And I sure do miss your face around the MSC makeup community. Mhmm, I do! It makes me happy to see you back, sort of. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! I'll try to reappear more. I'm easing back into it ;)
